THE FUTURE OF ATTRACTIONS: SIGNALS AND DIRECTIONS
18 Dic , 2025 Uncategorized

In a complex and constantly evolving global context, the attractions industry is undergoing a significant phase of transformation. For operators and investors, interpreting market signals and understanding future directions is now essential in order to make informed and sustainable choices over time.
Attractions that confirm their value over time
Some types of attractions continue to demonstrate consistent strength, remaining key reference points for both the public and operators.
Fun Houses continue to rank among the most in-demand solutions, thanks to their ability to engage a broad and diverse audience.
Bumper Cars, in turn, remain a certainty: an attraction capable of maintaining high appeal over time and adapting to different contexts and audiences.
Alongside these established attractions, new solutions designed for increasingly family-oriented audiences are also gaining ground. The Marco Polo and Monster Cars kiddie rides, among the most recent additions, are gradually finding their place, responding to a growing demand for inclusivity and a more varied offering.

Planning, reliability, and new installations
One clear signal emerging from the market is the growing need for medium- and long-term planning.
For operators, being able to plan investments, deliveries, and openings well in advance has become a decisive factor.
Within this context comes Luna, a new attraction recently presented at a trade fair, which will see its first installation in the spring of next year in a park in France.
It is an attraction designed for a very broad audience, allowing children from the age of 3 to ride, confirming a direction increasingly focused on shared and accessible experiences.

Experience and immersion: an increasingly clear direction
Among the most evident trends shaping the future of the industry is the growing interest in experiential and immersive attractions. Audiences are no longer looking solely for entertainment, but for experiences capable of engaging, surprising, and telling a story.
For this reason, a significant portion of current investments is directed toward the development of ghost trains and dark rides. A structured project is underway that will lead, between 2026 and 2027, to the introduction of four different types of dark rides, designed to offer diversified solutions adaptable to different contexts and target audiences.
Looking ahead, with solid foundations
The signals coming from the market point to a clear direction: the future of attractions is built by combining continuity, attention to families, and the ability to evolve.
Attractions that perform well over time, alongside new solutions designed for ever-broader audiences, represent a concrete strategy for those with a long-term vision.
Understanding these dynamics means not chasing trends, but building real value, season after season.
